|GB| ROZARIO Tavern has been there for 40 years ; come and discover why our guests keep coming back. It is located in the heart of the historic town centre, by the Dominican monastery, just a few steps from the Sponza Palace on the main street Stradun. Dalmatian tavern being symbol of our coast, this former wine cellar converted into a restaurant offering traditional atmosphere, where regular guests gather and enjoy good food and drink, joined by tourists eager to experience the authentic Adriatic. Our offer is based on the local, Dalmatian cuisine (healthy, Mediterranean) that will convey the magic of the Mediterranean to your table by a drop of premium wine and folk songs! We are especially proud of our staff, trained in the finest restaurants with a desire to preserve all the values of traditional cooking. In addition to "a la carte" offering, which is regularly enriched by the new but still traditional dishes, we offer menus for groups, special and festive gatherings, catering, cooking school workshops, and wine tasting.

Recommended by a local, we chose the Rosario to celebrate our Golden Wedding with our family. We couldn't have chosen better. Atmosphere, food and wine were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The owner had even provided a bouquet to mark the occasion. We gladly returned for Sunday lunch and once again were not disappointed.

We just this morning returned from a very wet week in Dubrovnik. What a disappointment! A bright beam of sunshine and hospitality, however, was "Rosarij/Rosario." Due to the bad weather, we ate inside and found it cosy; our waiter was friendly, informative and attentive. My husband and I split a 1-kilo, fresh-from-the sea John Dory and our son went for the steak. We were three happy diners, thrilled to be out of the rain, but even happier to be eating fresh, beautifully-prepared food in a welcoming environment. This restaurant is a MUST..

"Thank god, a decent restaurant in Dubrovnik"

Dubrovnik appears full of the same types of restaurants, super expensive (no thanks) or pizza and risotto. Thankfully this is different and very good. We could not decide on what we wanted to eat, both choosing the same dishes; no problem they said and served us half each fully plated up. The beef was superb as was the fish (too long ago to remember the exact dishes). Because it was a little chilly we were the only ones sitting inside, but it was still nice

This is the place you must visit ,authentical cuisine from dalmatia.Inevitable place when you visit Dubrovnik. I have eaten grill fish and traditional desert with local wine and only thing what I can say that it was unexpectebly pleasent experience
"Excellent restaurant (now called Rosario)"

I've been here a number of times when it was called Rozarij and never been disappointed. It's now called Rosario - not sure whether this is due to a change of ownership. Food is even better than before. So good in fact, that we made 2 visits - once for lunch and the second time for dinner. Excellent service. If you like meat try the Steak Rosario - absolutely wonderful. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants. A cut above most of the others on Prijeko.
